Tortie Persian cat

The tortie Persian cat is dignified, gentle, and at the same time cheerful and very closely associated with the guardian.

Nature

The tortie Persian cat is gentle, delicate, with a calm temperament and balanced character. He is very attached to the owners, but does not impose his presence and is not absorbing. He seems a bit inaccessible, proud and dignified. Sociable, consistent and non-conflicting, he can live with other pets. He seems to be not very mobile, but in fact, he is cheerful and enjoys playing. He is not inclined to climb and is a householder. It is suitable for children, but does not like too obtrusive – he sometimes shows dissatisfaction, but never aggression.

Care

Garment care must be systematic. You have to brush it at least every other day and check every day for any tangles. The eyes are prone to excessive tearing, so they should be washed frequently. You also need to check your ears occasionally and trim your claws.

Tortie Persian cat. History

Persian cat is one of the oldest and best-known cat breeds. Probably Persian protoplasts came to Europe from the Middle East (Iran, former Persia) during the Crusades. However, the proper breed was bred by the English, crossing Middle Eastern cats with each other. Persian cat comes in a huge number of color varieties. Some organizations recognize each color of the Persian cat as a separate breed. This is the case with the Persian tortie cat. Because tortie color is gender-related (tortie is almost always a female), a tortie Persian cat is created by crossing different-colored Persian cats.
