Ocicat cat

Ocicat cat about the color of a wild cat, but friendly and nice character of a typical domestic purr.

Character

Despite the wild appearance, ocicat is a mild cat with medium temperament. He is a cat with a nice disposition, energetic, cheerful, willing to play. Devoted to the owner, he follows him like a shadow and accompanies in all everyday activities. He is inquisitive and intelligent, quickly adopts home rules and likes to learn tricks, e.g. retrieving. He has a strong character and can be stubborn, but at the same time, he is quite willing to comply. He doesn’t like excessive tenderness and usually decides when he wants to be petted. Males are usually great pets, exuberant even to strangers. Cats are inherently more distrustful and need more time to accept guests. Ocicat is not conflicting and feels good both in the presence of other cats and dogs. It adapts to permanent residence in the apartment, if he has an open space at his disposal – he doesn’t like to be closed and isolated from his family. He doesn’t tolerate loneliness, so if the owner spends a lot of time outside the home, he should try to get a company for his pet. Suitable for families with children.
